The Misty Sunset
Soft pastel is love of my life. It is amazing, so plastic, gentle and intelligent. You feel how it glows and it is because pastel is almost pure pigment. Even after 100 years when most oil paintings are to be renovated, pastel painting remains the same. I did not want this landscape to be Halloween style, so I added people figures to make it peaceful and adventurous.
