The Violinist

This is my favorite painting. The girl is so beautiful and the whole story is somehow touching. It is painted on a big format, 75x55 cm, with Rembrandt, Unison and Sennelier soft pastels. Even without frame looks stunning. I will post it after it is framed, I think it will be incredibly beautiful! I also enclose photos how if was painted.

I found the lady I painted a few months ago! I just saw an image on Internet and literally fell in love with the whole mood of it! The lady was so sensual and beautiful, and I could feel the tension before the performance! I wanted to paint her but I could not paint well then, so I saved the image till the moment comes. I enjoyed every moment of my work. Of course I knew she exists, but I just didn't concentrate on it. And now I started to think about the ethical side - does she agree I make a portrait of her using her image? So I decided to find her, and I managed to find her. Her name is Malya Margaux, she is very, very beautiful and talented, and she lives in Switzerland. I asked her for permission to paint her, showed her the portrait and she liked it and granted the permission!!! The photo was made for her by Cyril Torrent - check his account, he makes really brilliant photos! So I am happy and I feel so strange - I met the person I painted, I feel she just stepped out the virtual world and she is a real person of blood and flesh, with real human beauty. this is SOOOOO COOL FEELING!!!
